1 Acceptance and structure

Information published on the Teej Gold campaign page about how to enter, the A$15 discount and the prize forms part of these Terms & Conditions. The Promotion Schedule above and the clauses below must be read together. If they are inconsistent, the Promotion Schedule prevails.

Entry is automatic when an entrant completes a Qualifying Transfer. No separate prize-draw form or marketing opt-in is required. Completing a Qualifying Transfer is treated as acceptance of these terms.

2 Eligibility

Entry is open to individuals who, for the whole Promotion Period:

  • are legal residents of Australia and are at least 18 years old;
  • are registering with and using WorldRemit for the first time;
  • have not previously completed a transfer through WorldRemit; and
  • meet WorldRemit's customer acceptance, identity verification and transaction requirements.

Directors, officers, employees, contractors and suppliers of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate, prize suppliers and agencies involved in the Promotion—and their immediate family members—cannot enter. Immediate family includes a spouse or former spouse, de facto partner, parent, step-parent, grandparent, child, step-child, sibling, step-sibling, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew or first cousin.

3 How to enter

To receive one entry, an eligible entrant must complete all of the following during the Promotion Period:

  1. Create a new WorldRemit customer account and satisfy all required verification checks.
  2. Start their first WorldRemit transfer from Australia to a recipient in Nepal.
  3. Set a send amount of at least A$30, excluding any transfer fees or other charges.
  4. Enter promo code TEEJGOLD before confirming payment and ensure the code is accepted at checkout.
  5. Pay for the transfer and allow it to be successfully processed and completed.

A transfer is a Qualifying Transfer only if it satisfies every condition above and is accepted by the Promoter. A transfer that is cancelled, reversed, refunded, charged back, unpaid, incomplete, duplicated, fraudulent, made in breach of WorldRemit's terms, or otherwise rejected is not a Qualifying Transfer and will not receive an entry.

There is a maximum of one entry per person and one entry per WorldRemit customer account. Entries cannot be transferred, combined or submitted on another person's behalf. The Promoter's transaction records determine whether and when an entry was received.

4 A$15 discount

When a valid TEEJGOLD code is accepted, an A$15 discount will be shown before the entrant confirms the Qualifying Transfer. The discount applies only once, to that entrant's first transfer from Australia to Nepal, and does not reduce the required minimum send amount.

The discount has no cash value, cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or combined with another promo code, and cannot be applied after a transfer has been confirmed. If the Qualifying Transfer is cancelled, reversed or refunded, the discount is forfeited and will not be reissued unless the Promoter decides otherwise.

5 Prize

There is one prize: the gold chain shown on the campaign website, valued at A$1,500 including GST. The total prize pool is A$1,500.

The winner is responsible for any tax consequence, insurance, delivery cost not expressly accepted by the Promoter, or other expense connected with accepting or using the prize. Entrants should seek their own financial or tax advice if needed.

The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. If it becomes unavailable for a reason beyond the Promoter's reasonable control, the Promoter may provide a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any direction or approval required by a regulator. The Promoter is not responsible for a change in the prize's market value.

6 Draw, notification and announcement

One winner will be selected at random by an electronic draw from all valid entries. The draw will take place at the Promoter's address in Sydney on 17 September 2026. The first valid eligible entry drawn wins. The winner does not need to be present.

The Promoter may also draw reserve entries and record them in order. If the first entry drawn is invalid, the entrant is ineligible, or the entrant cannot accept the prize, the prize may be awarded to the first valid reserve entrant, subject to applicable law.

The Promoter will contact the provisional winner using the email address or telephone number recorded on their WorldRemit account within two business days of the draw and explain how to verify eligibility and claim the prize. The provisional winner becomes the confirmed winner only after verification.

The winner's first initial, surname and Australian postcode will be published on the campaign website on 17 September 2026, or as soon as reasonably possible after verification if verification is still underway. If the Promoter cannot contact or verify the provisional winner, or the prize is not claimed within the reasonable claim period stated in the notification, the Promoter may award the prize to a valid reserve entrant or conduct a further random draw, subject to applicable law and any regulator's direction. Any replacement winner will be notified and published in the same way.

7 Verification and invalid entries

Entrants must provide complete and accurate account and contact details and keep evidence of the Qualifying Transfer. The Promoter may verify identity, age, residence, new-customer status, transfer details, payment status and compliance with these terms before awarding the prize.

The Promoter may reject or disqualify an entry that is incomplete, late, misdirected, corrupted, generated through error, fraudulent, misleading, obtained through tampering or manipulation, or otherwise inconsistent with these terms. A person who uses multiple identities or accounts, interferes with the entry process, or breaches WorldRemit's customer terms may be disqualified.

The Promoter is not responsible for an entry that is not received because of a communications failure, service interruption, user error, incomplete verification or another event outside its reasonable control. The Promoter's decision on eligibility and verification is final, subject to applicable law.

8 Privacy and marketing

The Promoter will use personal information connected with an entry to administer the Promotion, verify entrants, contact and announce the winner, deliver the prize, prevent fraud, keep required records and comply with law. Information may be disclosed to related companies, service providers, prize suppliers, professional advisers and regulators where reasonably required for those purposes.

Entry into the Promotion does not require consent to receive marketing. A person may separately opt in on the campaign website to receive giveaway updates and WorldRemit marketing by email. That consent is voluntary, does not affect eligibility or the chance of winning, and can be withdrawn at any time using the unsubscribe link in an email.

WorldRemit handles personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy, the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. The Privacy Policy explains how to request access or correction and how to make a privacy complaint.

9 Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its related bodies corporate, officers, employees and agents are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from entry, non-entry, participation, winning or not winning, or accepting, delivering or using the prize. They are also not responsible for delay, loss or damage in transit that is outside their reasonable control.

Where the Promoter has a liability that cannot be excluded but can lawfully be limited, its liability is limited, at its option, to resupplying the relevant goods or services or paying the reasonable cost of doing so.

10 Changes, suspension or cancellation

If fraud, technical failure, war, civil unrest, industrial action, natural disaster, public-health event, legal restriction or another event outside the Promoter's reasonable control prevents the Promotion from operating fairly or as planned, the Promoter may verify entries, suspend, modify, cancel or restart the Promotion, subject to applicable law and any required regulatory approval or direction.

The Promoter will not make a change that unfairly disadvantages entrants. Any material update will be published on the campaign website. Failure to enforce a right under these terms does not waive that right.

11 General

The Promotion is separate from WorldRemit's Teej community initiative involving 100 Dar meal plates for Nepalese women in Nepal. The initiative does not affect eligibility, entry or the winner's selection.

If the Promotion is advertised on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat or another social platform, it is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with that platform. Questions or complaints about the Promotion must be directed to the Promoter.

These terms are governed by the law of the Australian state or territory in which the entrant ordinarily resides. Entrants and the Promoter submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and tribunals of that state or territory.

For campaign questions or complaints, contact WorldRemit through its Australian customer support channels and include “Teej Gold Giveaway 2026” in the message.
